Case Ease Calendar
360 degree calendar concept
Background
The EASE calendar is an experimental redesign of the typical calendar system.
It draws inspiration from the concept of a year as a circle, similar to a clock, with four seasons and twelve months. Unlike traditional linear calendars, the design explores a 360-degree format. The circular layout represents a full year, with winter at 12 o’clock and summer at 6 o’clock. This arrangement allows users to quickly identify the current month, week, and season, while providing a visual sense of the year’s progression. The calendar also offers a week-by-week overview of appointments and uses extruded columns to indicate how full each week is. This approach aims to provide a more intuitive representation of time throughout the year.
